France Fortier

We mourn the passing of France Fortier, who touched the lives of so many neighbors and friends in San Francisco. She was a gifted musician, piano teacher, cook, knitter, gardener and artist. Her creative and open approach to piano teaching inspired hundreds of students, and her spirit will live on with them throughout their lives. Her warmth, love, and open home were magnets that brought people together in new combinations to form friendships and collaborations that will survive her for many years.

France is survived by her sister Christiane Fortier, and her niece and nephew. Please donate to this fund to assist Christiane with cremation and other costs.
