Donation protected
Hello, My name is Anne-Louise Scozzafava,
We the family would be so appreciative for any donations to my brother n law Luigi Seneca's long , difficult road to recovery.
Last Friday night this nightmare started . A pain behind his neck and shoulder which radiated down both arms causing excruciating pain, and shocks radiating to legs quickly developed to loss of feeling and mobility. When this started he went to the emergency seeking help to find out what was happening, however was sent home. These symptoms progressively got worse to the point where he couldn't stand or walk. The ambulance was called and he returned to the emergency where tests and imaging was ordered which included a MRI the following day. The MRI revealed severely damaged disc extrusion involving the spinal cord. He was advised this was outside the hospitals comfort zone and he was to be transferred to Hamilton for urgent surgery. ⁰
The surgeon stated, the prolonged diagnosis and failure to have the surgery done within 24 hours has unfortunately caused permanent damage to the nerve . The outcome is not promising . He may not walk.
We are devastated. He will have many months of rehabilitation and wll not be able to work.
Luigi is a wonderful husband, father, brother-n- law, son , uncle and cousin and friend to many. He may be confined to a wheelchair for months if not years.
You're thoughtful and generous donation will help to alleviate the financial stress that this devasting life altering injury as caused.
Now required medical care, equipment for mobility, and modifications for daily living.
Please keep Luigi , Julie and Rocco in your prayers.
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
