Grogan Family

Pastor Mickey and Tiffany Grogan and family of Abundant Life Center Tulare Ca, were traveling to San Francisco last night for a scheduled surgery today September 24th for Tiffany. They had a blow out on a rear tire in the evening and called me to see if I knew a place that was open. Since it was late I lent them my vehicle and told them I would get the tire fixed. After searching all over and striking out on a used tire, I decided to get them a new one. Long story short. All four rims on their vehicle that they recently purchased were cracked and welded for repair. No tire shop will touch this and is the reason for the blow out. The Grogan's were completely unaware of how unsafe this was. I decided to have a set of brand new wheels and tires put on for them. Pastor Mickey told me his budget and I along with Faith Tabernacle Church of Tracy Ca covered the rest.
However, I don't want this family to pay for anything. Tiffany is donating her kidney and giving life to their worship leader at their church. Normally we can just all agree this just happens and part of life. But this is not normal for this to happen when they are giving so un-selfishly and expecting nothing in return. They give and serve their church and community everyday expecting nothing in return. This is a true act of the love of God.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
This is not about a vehicle, this is not about a particular family, this is about an act of generosity that we can all play a part in. I believe that it is not coincedence that I got the phone call, and it is not coincedence that you're reading this. I believe that its the responsibilty of the church to come together and support it's own. I also believe that this is a season of giving right now that can and will break things in your life when you give and respond in faith. Whatever gift you give goes towards the Grogan's cost of fixing their vehicle. Thank you for your gift and the much needed prayers for the surgery and recovery.
