Adullam House Internship

Hi! My name is Emma Borisuk, and I have been serving at Adullam House Ministries in Alabama for 7 months.

Adullam House is a donation funded ministry that cares for children of incarcerated parents, as well as parents struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. Our aim is to give them a safe and stable home for as long as God intrusts them to us--sometimes that means a few weeks, sometimes it means these children waiting years for a parent to turn their life around and be the guardian and mentor that God intended them to be. 

Children come of all ages, but our most common additions are infants--2 days old and right out of the hospital! We currently have nine babies between the ages of 15 months and 2 months, and all are an incredible privilige to care for. Many are drug babies, dealing with the consequences of their mother's choices during pregnancy, and struggling to cope with the withdrawl. That is why we're there: to care for them, to love them, to discipline and instruct them in the Lord, to be the temporary mothers that they require. I have been incredibly blessed to be a part of their lives, and have a deep desire to continue there for as long as God intends!

My goal of $3000 would be to provide for the next 6 months of bills and expenses, though the timeline is slightly open-ended, since I don't know what God has in store for me. I appreciate any support, whether that be financial or through prayer. Seeking monthly support, but one time donations are also very appreciated!
