For the past month-and-a-half our son has been struggling with having anaphylactic allergic reactions they're not sure what's going on with him. I had to pull him out of school to do home school because he missed so much school. He is being tested for MCAS, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and has high liver numbers. He is in pain almost every day. He has to be supervised at all times. Lamontee Sr. is at a hospital that's a long-term care acute hospital for his bedsore and since he's on IV antibiotics every 6 hours. we are hopeful he will be able to come home within the next 3 to 4 weeks once we get moved into our new home. between taking care of my son and taking him to all of the specialist he has to see and spending time with Lamontee at the hospital I am unable to work currently so I started selling Scentsy.
LaMontee is doing better. He had his trach removed and is speaking and singing.LaMontee also got a wound vac for his stage 4 bedsore. He has started peeing blood right now there is no explanation or labs that show why everything looks normal. He still needs assistance to stand. Our landlord is selling the house so we have to be moved by the end of September. I will need assistance with a Deposit and some household items that are not included in this house or that need replaced that was in our current home such a gently used or new washer/dryer and fridgerator. As most of you are aware, LaMontee Haggins has been in the hospital for almost 2 months after being rushed to the hospital due to profuse vomiting of blood that was so intense that it was causing him to repeatedly lose consciousness. Once at the hospital, a very large (22cm) ulcer and blood clot were discovered in dangerous proximity to an artery. On Wednesday, May 2nd, the ulcer penetrated his artery and LaMontee went into Cardiopulmonary Arrest for over 30 minutes before he could be resuscitated. He was taken into surgery but has, unfortunately, he was unresponsive and on a ventilator until June 2nd. He was transferred to Ohio Select and they were able to get him transitioned off the vent. He is making improvements like being able to shake his head yes and no and respond to commands. LaMontee is the sole provider for his family, working for Amazon. He is eligible for 60% of his pay with disability. There are a lot of cost for transportation, food and other expenses also medical expenses like co-pays and deductibles. Therefore, we implore you to donate to the family's to help with medical and food and travel cost. ANY amount helps. No amount is too small. Regardless of what the future holds, they will have a VERY long road ahead of them and it's going to "take a village" to get them through. They are eternally grateful for everyone's help thus far including monetary, grocery, meals and prayers. They humbly ask that you continue to help in any way possible, especially financially at this time, if you are able. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
