Fr Richard Camino 2025

I'm hoping to do the Camino this summer, the full one this time: 700/800km from France to Santiago.

I want to do it as a prayerful and, no doubt, penitential personal pilgrimage from 2 to 31 July, off the grid, carrying my own Mass kit and staying in the public pilgrim hostels.

There are a few costs that I'm a bit stretched to cover, so if you feel prompted and able, this is a basic budget I've drawn up. Of course some things are more essential than others, but any assistance would be most appreciated.

Travel: €350

Backpack: €200

Trekking Gear: €200

Hostel stays (€10 x 30): €300

Pilgrim meal: (€10 x 30): €300

Breakfast, snacks and lunch (€10 x 35): €350

First aid, toiletries etc: €100

Misc: €200

Of course I will be carrying you and your intentions in prayer along the way. I pray for all my material and spiritual benefactors, so if you can support me with even a Hail Mary, I'd really appreciate that and will pray for you.
