This is Chris Decaen, Fr. Ramon's brother. Thank you all for your outpouring of prayers and condolences over the past two days. All things considered, we are bearing well under the sorrow and shock, as we know that it (and Fr. Ramon) is in the Providential Lord's hands. Although his funeral mass will almost certainly be in Lincoln, we tentatively plan to have Fr. Ramon's body buried in Ventura, where he grew up, and where our parents live still, so that they can visit his grave regularly. Would you please help us with the expense of flying him home to us?
