Retreat for Fr. Jeff and Fr. Celso

Hello! (And shhhhhhh! Don't tell them!!!)

My name is Kristie Manning, and I am the Director of Faith Formation for Queen of Apostles Church. A few months ago, I applied for a grant through the Catholic Community Foundation to send our priests on a five-day "Equipping for Pastoral Ministry" conference through the JPII Healing Center in Tallahassee FL. The grant award was enough to pay for their registration and lodging but not enough to cover the cost of travel, stipends for supply priests, etc.

As you probably know, right now, we are operating on a shoestring budget, and cross-country travel is pricey. So the staff is trying to raise money to pay for the entirety of the cost, knowing that this week will afford our beloved priests the opportunity both to be ministered to and to grow in faith, hope and love.

I've had the privilege of attending events through the JPII center, and I can guarantee that our priests will return with a renewed passion and the skills required to minister to the needs of our parish. This is a big win for everyone.

Please prayerfully consider donating whatever you can. Fr. Jeff and Fr. Celso do not know that we are doing this, and we'd very much like to keep it that way until we can present them with the gift, so mums the word!
