Super Steven

On Saturday, my poor baby Steven was mauled by a pit bull in the neighbor's yard.

He now has stitches along the scrotum, and his leg is covered with bruises and bite marks, one being an inch away from a main artery.

There is nothing that my son would’ve done to a dog to make it aggressive. He knows to ask before he pets a dog, he knows not to roughhouse with dogs he doesn’t know, and we take our dog to the dog park every weekend. He’s a very knowledgeable and smart seven-year-old; he knows boundaries and he respects them.

It takes a lot of responsibility to have an aggressive dog, and they couldn’t keep her contained and controlled. That’s just the price that my son unfortunately had to pay. He is going to have lifelong issues now. This isn’t to be taken lightly.

He is on a very strong dose of antibiotics. He’s able to walk but has to waddle like a penguin and has to get help peeing.

This has been so dehumanizing for him, and to have his manhood taken at such a young age! He will be lucky if he can have kids when he’s older, or if he’s not constantly in pain.

Unfortunately, this dog had a bite record and this could’ve been avoided had the city of Kenosha deemed this dog dangerous before.

I’m asking for money in support of medical bills and for me to take some time off of work to provide care and bring my son to doctor’s appointments, and possible legal fees to help get justice, etc.
