My name is Terri Leeman. I've set up this account on behalf of my friend Misti Goodwin. I've known Misti for over 20 years as my hairdresser and my friend. Misti was recently diagnosed with ductile breast cancer and will undergo a double mastectomy on June 10. The diagnosis alone is devastating enough. She is also facing weeks of not being able to work post-surgery. No work means no pay. She has insurance with a very high deductible.

Last Fall, Misti took a leap of faith and moved to her "happy place" - the beach. She depleted most of her savings to make the move, and started from scratch to build a client list. Never did she think that her dreams would be halted with the news of "you have breast cancer." Misti needs to be focused on getting well. She doesn't need to be worried about how to pay her rent or pay her medical bills. Misti could be you. She could be me. She is one of nearly 300,00 women in the US who will hear the shocking words she heard when given the diagnosis.
