Educate Syrian refugee children
Donation protected
Narrated 'Adi bin Hatim' heard the Prophet ﷺ saying:
"Save yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half a
date-fruit in charity."
According to the UNHCR, there are 400,000 Syrian refugee children between the ages of 5-J 7 registered in Lebanon and the majority of them are not receiving any mental health care or education.
Tuyoor AI-AmaI schools were founded in 2013 by Mustafa Al-Haj, a Syrian refugee himself. The schools are located in Jabbal Al-Badawi, Tripoli, Lebanon. The Schools provide vital education and mental health care support to over 2000 Syrian refugee children.
The economic crisis in Lebanon has meant that many Syrian refugees have lost their jobs, which has made their situation more precarious. This situation has meant that more Syrian refugee children are out of school and selling food items on the streets to support their families. Such work exposes them to all sorts of dangers and increases the chances of them being locked into a cycle of poverty and attached dangers.
The Prophet ﷺ said,
“The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that
are most consistent, even if it is small”.
Mustafa Al-Haj seeks your support for two things.
1) Create sustainable jobs for adult Syrian and Palestinian refugees and poor Lebanese.
Last year Mustafa was able to create six jobs thanks to the Ramadan appeal. This year he hopes to create more jobs with your help.
2) Ensure Syrian refugee children stay off the streets by providing them with education and therefore increase their chances of escaping the cycle of poverty and attached dangers. Thanks to your donations, nine students this academic year have enrolled on university courses.
Rasulullah ﷺ said: "Love for others what you would love for yourself, you will become a good Muslim” (Tirmidhi)
You can help Mustafa Al-Haj to continue his excellent work but donating and helping me to raise £10,000, which will be used to:
• Education (Tuyoor AI-AmaI schools students)
• Taking children off the streets and putting them
into school.
• School outings for the students to help with their mental health.
• Job creation For the Palestinian and Syrian refugees
For information about the Tuyoor AI-AmaI schools, you can contact Mustafa Al-Haj directly on Facebook.
