Medical Career Intro with NYLF Med
Donation protected
Greetings!
My name is Ryan Vrieswyk, and I am an aspiring neurosurgeon and a junior at Sheridan High School. I have recently been elected to represent the state of Wyoming at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, MA, where I will be the Wyoming delegate to a participatory learning experience. At this event, I will be educated on future medical advancements in technology and practice that may affect my future career as a doctor I have recently been recognized by Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi through a senatorial letter of recomendation. I have also been nominated to attend a medical program through National Youth Leadership Forum. This event takes place in Babson College in Boston, MA. This forum will provide me with the opportunity to learn from some of the foremost physicians in the nation. It will be a place where I can foster my interest in medicine and network with like-minded peers. In addition to that profound experience, I will also receive college credit from George Mason University and a comprehensive tour of the school.
As with any life-changing educational opportunity, there is a financial burden for the attendee. I must raise $6,500 to cover the costs of these trips. That amount accounts for airfare, tuition, and board. I am hoping that you would be willing to assist me in this endeavor. I am asking for donations in any amount to help offset the cost of the program. Any gift would sincerely help my family and me manage the monetary aspect of these trips. My goal is to raise the funds for the congress and the forum within the next two months, and it cannot happen without individuals like you.
These programs would provide me with a tangible experience of what being a doctor or surgeon will be like. I will get to learn basic medical procedures like setting broken bones, suturing wounds, and giving a neurological exam. On top of this I will be able to watch two live knee replacement and follow doctors on rounds. These opportunities have the potential to determine my career and college path. I would greatly appreciate any financial assistance you can offer. I can be contacted the following ways:

Address: 1727 Edwards Dr.

Thank you so much for your consideration,
Ryan Vrieswyk
