Support for Derek and the Gordon Family

Our dear friend Derek is currently in the fight of his life—he’s battling cancer with everything he has. If you know Derek and Amber, you know they are the first to show up for others. They’d give you the shirts off their backs without hesitation. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

This past year has brought unimaginable challenges to their family. In November, Amber’s mom was diagnosed with cancer, and Amber has missed a significant amount of work to help care for her. Then, in February, their son Cooper suffered a serious burn injury and had to be flown to Children's Hospital in Denver for treatment. Amber and Derek were by his side the entire time, unable to work while ensuring he received the care he needed.

And now, another heartbreaking blow—Derek has been diagnosed with cancer.

He recently had his chemo port placed and has begun his first round of chemotherapy. As many of you know, this journey is not easy, and it often takes months of treatment and recovery. Derek and Amber will be missing a lot more work, but unfortunately, the bills won’t stop coming. In fact, Cooper’s medical bills are already starting to arrive, and the financial stress is quickly piling up.

This is where we come in.
