Help Joey Get Back on His Feet

Joe Allen was in a horrific car accident on June 10th. Joey has sleep apnea and fell asleep driving to work in Frankfort. On the Georgetown I-64 ramp, he hit a parked semitrailer, and the wreck caused serious injuries. He has a torn ACL, and pcl knee ligaments completely detached; a T2 break in his spine; rib injuries; head trauma; the left vertebrate broken 5-9. While in ICU, a pulmonary blood clot was dissolved.

Joey is home from the hospital, and the expenses are mounting. There are frequent doctor visits, each with co-pay, shower chair, a mattress to help his back recover. His insurance won’t be enough to cover a replacement car. There will be many more as-yet-unforeseen expenses, but an essential one will be a CPAP machine to ensure Joey gets restful sleep.
