My name is Antonio Hadden, many know me as Tony.  As some of you may know, I’ve been a diabetic since I was six months old. Diabetes has taken a toll on my body.  Three years ago I was diagnosed with renal disease.  Since then, I’ve been on dialysis treatments.  It’s been a weekly struggle physically, mentally and financially.  Constantly being sick from treatment, it has made it difficult for me to work enough hours in a week to save up the money I need for the transplant.


God is giving me the strength and has kept me strong up to this point. I am on the transplant list at UCLA medical center.  GREAT news is that they recently called and told me that I am on top of the transplant list.  That means they could call me anytime and I'd have to go to get my new kidney and pancreas.


However, because of my prior health conditions, my workplace has not given me the short term disability for surgery, so I'm left paying for everything out of pocket.  Everything from travel expenses for the transplant, hospital stay, medication, etc.


I am now at a point in my life where I am turning to my family, friends, and anyone that is able to help someone in need.  Anything helps.
