Care for sick mom

My mom, Sue was was diagnosed with volvulous 10 years ago and was not expected to live. Clearly she is a fighter for making it this long! They did remove 2/3 of her small intestine and part of her colon which has caused many complications with absorbtion. She did very well for many years but the last 4 there has been a slow progression downhill. The last month it has been even worse. She can no longer walk more than a few steps and is down to 100lbs. The issue now is, I work 10 hours a day and I am her only caregiver. She needs to go into a home but there is a waiting list of a year for assitance. Her social security income is $300 a month short of a great deal that was given to her by a kind group home owner. Unfortunately, Nevada offers little to no help to the elderly in need. Any help to get her proper care would be appreciated. Thank you.
