My dear friend Anita Skocz was injured over 40 years ago in a diving accident.  She is quadripeligic and her medical bills are escalating. She is in need of a new handicapped van, new wheelchair with oscillating cushion, dental and vision care as well as other medical interventions related to her condition.    Recent financial hardships have created the need for this fundraising.    Anita is originally from Pittsburgh where I met her over 40 years ago and continues to be one of the happiest, most spiritual, loving, giving  and grateful people I know.  She inspires me with her spirit,  her attitude and her regular Facebook posts.
