A Cappella Academy 2020 (Peter Slattery)

Hello! My name is Peter Slattery.  I am a 17 year old bass and vocal percussionist who is thrilled and honored to have been accepted into A Cappella Academy 2020!   I fell in love with music and singing in middle school when my choir teacher said, "Hey, can I speak with you out in the hall? You have a deep voice. I want you to join choir."...and the rest is history. My choir teachers and director continue to inspire me and I am very grateful. Currently, I am a junior at Cherry Hill High School East, NJ and a proud member of All South Jersey Chorus and The Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale.  
A Cappella Academy is a dream come true!!! Founded by Avi Kaplan, former bass of Pentatonix,  it is an extensive and educational 10-day camp held at Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles, California. In the past seven years, they have received thousands of audition tapes from all over the world. With only approximately 70 spots available each year and a 13% acceptance rate, I can't believe I will be sharing this amazing experience with these aspiring vocalists!
Tuition for camp from July 2-12, 2020 is $2,250 which includes lodging and meals but not airfare.
