Kevin’s Memorial

If you had the privilege of knowing Kevin, you know how amazing of a human being he was. His laugh lit up any room, and his heart was warm and kind. Kevin has struggled with mental health and addiction for many years and is finally at peace.

This fundraiser is to help his sister, Kerri, with the celebration of life, burial, and travel cost for his family to be here. Any leftover funds will be donated to the volunteer groups Kevin was a part of: Shot in the Dark and Giving Back AZ. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated.

I just want to say thank you for everyone that donated to Kevin’s celebration. It was a beautiful day, with beautiful words spoken. It was everything he would have wanted. We were able to be relieved of the financial task of losing our brother,m. Your donations covered our travel expenses to travel from New York/Michigan.. Kevin’s celebration of life, getting the opportunity to meet Kevins closest friends, cremation, and to bring his belongings home with us, as well as some additional to donate to amazing volunteer groups Kevin was a part of. The loss of Kevin is so devastating to our family, but we want to you to know that Kevin’s loss will be mean something. Kevin’s death was not a loss to addiction, but society’s inability to adequately address the mental health crisis that we are in. The inability to provide adequate resources for those that have a life of unresolved trauma, like Kevin. Mental health is so important and we need to keep addressing core trauma versus masking it with medication without treatment. Continue to show up for yourself and others encourage others to seek help when they need it ❤️
