Merry Christmas everyone. This is difficult to share and even more difficult to ask.

Our new kitten so kindly pushed a container of chicken wings off of the counter this morning, allowing Ruby to eat a large amount of chicken wings.

What should have been a good day has turned into an absolute nightmare. Ruby has been rushed into emergency surgery costing nearly $4000.00 dollars.

I know times are tough right now and that’s why we are asking if any of our friends and family are able to help in any way they can.

If you know me, you know my dog is my best friend— maybe even my soulmate. We expect surgery to go well, but she will be spending Christmas and the next 3 days away from us which is devastating to say the least.
