Ashley and Matt have now given me the OKAY to tell you all what happened. Ceth was zip lining into the pool yesterday, while zip lining, the handle broke off and he fell 10-12 feet onto the ground

UPDATE 8:57 am 8/13

Surgery just started EVERYONE LIFT OUR BABY BOY UP IN PRAYER RIGHT NOW!

UPDATE 8:05am Surgery is about to begin. Please pray for Dr. Doan and his surgical team. They are doing a T6-T10 fusion and inserting a rod to relieve pressure off of his spinal cord.

He was able to move his hips this morning

He has some feeling in his legs and toes when mama and daddy touch him. They ask that you pray for 100% healing and feeling in his legs and toes.

It’s going to take time and months of therapy but he will get through this. Pray for him to wake up in no pain and that he’s able to get plenty of rest. She said she’s going to be updating me everytime she gets any news because it’s just too much on her to update everyone. Please Please PRAY for Ceth

I also wanted to add something special that ashley told me last night.

Matt was crying beside Ceth and Ceth turned to Matt and said “I didn’t know superman could cry!” If that don’t make you tear up, OMG!!

Surgery should begin around 7:30am. Ashley Barkley and Matthew Barkley said Thank You So Much for all of the prayers and support for their baby boy! He is going to defy all of the odds put against him. Let’s all pray hard for him, his Drs & Nurses, Matt & Ashley, and his family.

UPDATE on Ceth!

His spine is fractured in multiple places. Shattered as well. He will have surgery early in the morning to correct it. He is talking and more than anything just scared. Ashley and Matt are very overwhelmed at the moment but are so appreciative of all of the prayers He will get through this, they will get through this, we will ALL get through this! Please keep the prayers coming. I will update again as soon as I know something.

God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers, and Ceth is FOR SURE one of the STRONGEST We Love You Ceth!
