A 20-year-old Pakistani Student has been the victim of sexual abuse, harassment, and molestation since the age of 5 at the hands of family members and their acquaintances. Her parents are aware of each of these incidences and yet have continued to defend the assailants as well as actively victim-blaming, slut-shaming, and gaslighting the Survivor. She has experienced physical and psychological torture all her life, her parents continue to engage with and accept the abusers, and one of them lives in her house. She is regularly shamed for not wanting to interact with or have a relationship with him.
These events have resulted in a huge detriment to and sharp decline in mental health, which is something her parents also refuse to acknowledge. Her Panic Attacks and Suicidal Thoughts are scoffed at, ignored, and pushed under the rug. The parents have also threatened her from ever raising her voice as these incidents are “household matters” that no one else should be aware of. They have taken no steps in holding the abusers responsible.
She desperately needs to escape this environment. For this she needs Funds to help her cover College Tuition, Rent, and basic living necessities.
