Darren’s Journey.

Darren is a 32 year old, beautifully fun loving country man! On Sunday the 23rd of July, he was the passenger in a serious car accident on a property in his home town of Young NSW.

Darren was airlifted directly to Sydney, where he underwent surgery to his neck. He has sustained life changing injuries, including a broken neck, removal of his C4 vertebrae and physical paralysis to half of his body.

He is a dad, a son, a brother, an uncle and a mate to many.

The road ahead is long for both him and our family. Our lives are ever changed.

Our parents are currently staying in Sydney, 4 hours from home- to be by his side. Us siblings are also taking shifts at flying from out of state and driving in from different cities, as much as we can. We are committed to being together and by his side, while we help him to heal to his best potential. This stay is expected to be on-going for the foreseeable future.

Many people are asking how they can help and here’s how. Any donation helps and money ultimately keeps our family together, a float and sets Darren up for the best chance at recovery.
