This is Head Football Coach Raul Alvarez, it is with a heavy heart that I announce this, yesterday we lost a member of the Bulldog Family, Miguel "Big Mike" Garcia. Big Mike was a member of the Bulldog football proram, 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010. Big Mike played on the historic team that won our first section title, CIFSJS D5 2010 vs Highlands (see photo #71). I had the honor and privilege of coaching this young man while on the varsity football team.
Big Mike, as we affectionately called him, was an outstanding young man, sefless, nice, courteous, coachable, team-first mentality and the consummate teammate. Big Mike was loved by all. His passion for Bulldog football was unmatched, he loved the BULLDOGS! I am reaching out to the Bulldog Nation to ask for your support in this fundraising venture. We ask that you go the link and donate! Anything will help. The proceeds will go to Big Mike's family. This is time sensitive, so if you can donate soon, it will be greatly appreciated.
