While it’s my Misty and Midnight that have been the driving force behind us being able to rescue and help so many other dogs- and foster 63 to date- its nearly 16 year old pack Grandpa and Patriarch Ember who made this a PACK. My first foster, and foster fail, Ember was 8 when I got him out of rescue. He’s been surrogate papa and grandpa to dozens of fosters over the past 7 1/2 years, and helped heal the previously abused/feral pups that stayed here. Now he needs our help. On Xmas eve a previously unknown and fast growing tumor on his spleen ruptured and he would’ve died without immediate surgery. That surgery was obtained through an expensive Emergency Vet- the only type of vet open that day. This saved him for the time being and now he also needs at least an oncology consult. He’s still so alive, so vibrant, with the sparkle in his eyes. I owe for his surgery that saved him and this future cancer care. No matter how much time he lasts now is a gift, and it’s worth it for a pup who’s helped so many others, and for how much he’s meant to me. The bill was nearly $8500 after adjustments and a second check up visit. We’re getting about $3000 covered right now, can you please help me pay off this bill, and help with his care?
