Hi, my name is Hope. On November 27th, I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Jack after he faced several illnesses that rapidly worsened over the past year. Jack was 12 ½ years old and an Alaskan Malamute who spent most of his life as a happy, enthusiastic, and incredibly loving companion.

I got Jack when he was just six weeks old, and I was only 10 years old at the time. We grew up together, and he has been by my side through everything. Jack was my biggest support throughout my life, especially as I’ve struggled with both mental and physical health challenges caused by trauma and chronic illnesses. He always knew how to comfort me, and his presence made even the hardest days easier.

He adored the snow, playing in the garden, and cuddling with our cat, Oreo. Losing him has been absolutely heartbreaking, and the expenses surrounding his passing have been overwhelming for me. The costs of his euthanasia and cremation are especially high because Jack was such a big dog. I’m currently a trainee with a very limited income, and a close friend encouraged me to start this fundraiser.

I don’t expect help, but if you’re able to contribute anything—big or small—it would mean the world to me. I just want to bring my beautiful boy back home where he belongs.
