A New Hope: Animal Sanctuary & Education Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to caring for non-releasable wildlife. We currently care for around 30 animal residents who will spend their lives with us. That includes 3 beautiful red foxes, and one fox kit coming to us from a fur farm later this month.
Recently, we've been asked to take in 3 more foxes in dire need. These foxes were robbed their chance to live a natural life due to human interaction that socialized them beyond the point of survival. Without their fear of humans, they would stand no chance. For these foxes, we are a last resort.
In order to rescue them, we will need to fundraise to build a large new enclosure and to arrange transportation for the foxes to our site. We want to save their lives, but we will need your help!

Age: <1 yr
Sex: Male
Species: Red Fox
This little kit was owned illegally as a pet in California. CA Fish & Wildlife confiscated him and brought him to an excellent rehabilitation center, but unfortunately the damage was already done. Despite their efforts, they could not teach him to fear the way he should. He greets everyone who walks by with a wagging tail and uncontrollable happiness. His favorite games are fetch and tug of war. After a few rounds of that, he will sit on his rehabbers laps for a nap. He know's how to sit, but that goes out the window when he's too excited!
Fox Kit #2

Age: <1yr
Sex: Male
Species: Red Fox
The rehab center working with this fox has tried everything to wild him up. Unfortunately, they have made no headway. This little foxy just doesn't take their scare tactics seriously! The decision was made to place him when a rehabber came in to vaccinate the foxes and instead of running away like most foxes would, he crawled right on her lap for vaccination. *More information coming soon*
Kodi *Better Pictures Coming Soon*

Age: <6 monthsSex: Male
Species: Gray Fox
This little kit is by far the youngest of the group, but it is already clear to his rehabbers they won't stand a chance. Every chance this fox kit gets, they will climb up onto their rehabbers shoulder and nuzzle their face against hers. *More information coming soon*
As cute and sweet as these foxes sound, remember their adorable and loving antics are not something to be celebrated. These behaviors are learned by humans, and these behaviors are the reason these sweet animals will never be able to run free in the forest, hunt for prey, or find a mate. Illegal pet ownership is a real issue with true victims. It puts animals in positions like these where they are in real danger of being euthanized.
Please help us combat illegal and irresponsible exotic ownership, and help us to save their lives.
