Fox Run Stables Barn Fire Fund

Fox Run Stables is the home to many amazing horses and horse lovers in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The boarding, training and show facility suffered a terrible fire on the night of February 18th, resulting in the partial loss of the barn, loss of equipment, and, most heartbreakingly, the loss of several beloved horses. 

Not only is Fox Run Stables a place that many people of all ages call home, but it is also the livelihood for several full and part-time staff. The losses are unimaginable and hard to even place an estimated cost on to rebuild and return to normal. You cannot put a price on the life of the four-legged friends lost, but we can help them get a head-start on getting the facility and its booming program back on its feet. 

We would like to help the Fox Run boarders/riders recoup some of what was lost. The funds donated will go towards helping replace some of the individual belongings of the riders/boarders which were lost, including personal belongings and equipment such as tack. All donations will be distributed equally amongst those who had possessions on the property during the fire and records will be kept for fair and equal distribution. An equivalent portion of the donations will also go towards the barn staff who lost personal possessions in the barn fire as well. 

Tack donations can also be accepted, if you prefer, to assist with replacing lost items for the barn or individual riders. Please coordinate with GoFundMe organizer Meagan DeLisle if you would like to make donations of tack, equipment, etc.
