My name is Alex Jackson and my good friend Angharad Wise and I are making a film!

FOX HUNTER is about the quiet , corrosive complicity that exists within our society - the way silence, loyalty and power protect harm. It explores how social dynamics and group denial create environments where abuse is ignored, justified and buried.

Beneath the surface story of a group unravelling in a remote house, lies a deeper examination of sexual violence, domestic abuse, and the long term impact of trauma. The film confronts how toxic masculinity and the silence of bystanders sustains cycles of violence, often leaving survivors to carry the weight alone. It's a film that sits within a wave of elevated horror that blends emotional realism with psychological tension and social unease. It draws from stories where the supernatural is inseparable from trauma, where group dynamics are as dangerous as any ghost, and where horror emerges not from jump scares, but from silence, complicity, and the things left unsaid. And how easy it is to protect the wrong people, especially when you love them.
