My name is Kurt Wolfe, but this isn’t about me…
One of my best friends in life passed away today. Paul Fox.
He left behind a wife, Rita and three children: Catherine 20, Anna 18 and Peter 9
I can barely function right now so I can’t imagine what they are going through.
Paul met a buddy over in Palm Springs last week to go mountain biking. He was in incredible shape but they took a wrong turn and wound up on the trail on 105 degree temps for an additional three hours and ran out of water. Paul had a heat stroke. He lasted in the hospital until today. Seemed like he was on the road to recovery until this morning when things turned. I went to visit him but arrived 30 minutes too late.
I introduced Paul to Rita in 1996. Our families have been very tight ever since.
Catherine is in college, Anna is about to graduate high school and had planned to attend college in the fall.
All that is on hold now I’m sure as Rita has no income.
