After an incredible season last year, our team has continued to grow and push ourselves in ways we’re truly proud of. This year, we welcomed 9 new members, bringing our roster to 32 athletes. This reflects the steady, continued growth of a team that remains strong, competitive, and committed to the fun.

This season also brought some unexpected challenges. With unusually low snow across the region, we had to change race venues for three separate competitions. Even with all the chaos, our athletes stayed positive and we still had a ton of fun. The constant changes created financial strain that hit our budget harder than expected.

Through these financial challenges, our leadership board and the support from previous fundraisers, like this annual event, have kept us above water. Their dedication ensures that the MSU Alpine Ski Club remains accessible, organized, and ready to compete no matter what the season throws at us.

As always, our mission is to keep the club affordable. Each athlete only pays a portion of the true cost of racing, while the rest is covered through fundraisers and volunteering, we organize throughout the year.

Your generosity directly impacts all 32 athletes who work hard, represent MSU with pride, and keep our ski community strong. Thank you for supporting our Fourth Annual Fundraiser and helping us continue the tradition of making collegiate skiing possible for everyone on our team.

Last year, we were able to raise about $3,500 for our team. This year, our goal is $4,500, which comes out to an increase of $31.25 per athlete. This additional amount helps cover rising costs for lodging, lift tickets, race entry fees, and other essentials that make our season possible. With prices increasing across the board, this small per‑athlete adjustment ensures we can continue offering affordable opportunities for all 32 athletes on our roster.
