On February 2, 2022 Firefighters responded to a devastating house fire in Shickshinny. Four family members managed to escape while tragically four members of the family did not make it out. Her son Harley Jones 18, Her nephew Michael Shoemaker Jr 15 , Her sister Georgette Jones 40 , and her mother Jean Jones 68.
While trying to take care of the things that she needs to, as best as she can, in preparing for a funeral for her son and her mother, as well as helping with her sisters and nephews and all that goes with she should not have to worry about anything else financially. As she is not ready to return to work in the midst of preparing for multiple funerals and mourning a tragedy.
