Fountain of Memories

My name is Arjun Lakhanpal and I am a junior at The Altamont School. When running on the Jemison trail one day, I realized that I had forgotten my water bottle. The nearest water fountain was half a mile away. This is when I came up with the idea of raising funds to install a water fountain in memory of my uncle Sundeep Caplash. Sundeep was an avid runner, who was always helping others. Tragically, his life was taken too soon while he was out running one morning. I thought this would be a great way to continue Sundeep’s legacy of helping others. I have met with the Mountain Brook City Parks and Recreation board and they have approved my project. The water fountain will be placed close to where the nature trail at Jemison starts. I am asking for your help to raise the funds for the water fountain itself and for its installation. I am starting this campaign by donating $100 from my summer job. I hope you will consider supporting me in having this fountain of memories installed.
