Founding Support for a Veteran-Led Research Nonprofit

Hello! My name is Brian Mayer, a Marine veteran and anthropology student-researcher. I’m starting the Research in Human & Applied Performance Sciences, Space, Operations, Development, and Yielded data (RHAPSODY) Research Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing research on stress, resilience, and human adaptation in high-stress occupations like the military, first responders, and even for future space missions.

We’re raising funds to cover the essential legal and startup costs needed to launch RHAPSODY as a fully recognized medical research foundation. These funds will allow us to incorporate, secure nonprofit status, and protect our name and mission so we can begin applying for grants, building partnerships, and conducting meaningful research.
