Founder-African Youth In Tourism and Hospitality Association

My name is Luckson Zambuko, and I’m the Founder and CEO of the African Youth in Tourism and Hospitality Association (AYTHA) — a youth-led organization headquartered in South Africa.

Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated my life to creating opportunities for young people across Africa, especially those from vulnerable and unemployed backgrounds to gain access to skills, mentorship, and employment within the tourism, travel, and hospitality industries.

Through AYTHA, we’ve built partnerships with global organizations like the World Travel Market, Future Hospitality Summit, NextGen Tourism Botswana, Westmont Hospitality Institute, and Dubai’s Future Leaders Challenge, connecting African youth to international platforms and learning opportunities that were once out of reach.

This October, I have been officially invited to speak and represent Africa at the Global Tourism Forum in Brussels — one of the world’s most influential gatherings of leaders shaping the future of sustainable tourism, aviation, and economic development. I will be joining global CEOs, ministers, and policymakers to discuss human capital development, youth employability, and Africa’s contribution to climate resilience and sustainable tourism.

However, despite the significance of this invitation, I am self-funding my participation. I am therefore kindly appealing for support to help cover my travel and accommodation expenses so that I can represent African youth on this global stage.

This opportunity is bigger than me, it’s a chance for Africa’s young leaders to have a voice where decisions about our industries, our jobs, and our future are being made.

Your contribution — no matter the amount — will help make that possible. It will directly support Africa’s story of empowerment, inclusion, and global collaboration.

Thank you for believing in this mission, and for walking this journey of hope, leadership, and transformation with me.

With gratitude,
Luckson Zambuko
