Foundations of Meditation

Writing another book takes time, whilst expenses don't disappear...

I have decided to take the next six months focussing on my next book, a timely one for multiple reasons:

• The end of 2023 brings a hundred years since Rudolf Steiner gave what is undoubtedly one of his most significant works: a crystalised encapsulation from his life-work in poetic form, also underpinning the fundamentals of meditative techniques - this is what I shall be focussing on;

• On a personal level, my income has effectively dried up, and I can either focus my efforts in striving to find more work to generate income (not a good time of the year for this over here), or take the opportunity to seek to write;

• My long engagements with meditation practices and teaching, with philosophical texts especially in its semiotic form, and with Steiner's writings, educational works, and especially his Philosophy of Freedom and Knowledge of the Higher Worlds, makes the project a marvellous opportunity to bring together an exposition of these threefold practices... and

• I am of the age where this becomes an opportunity to give into the community what the communities with which I have been engaged have long cherishingly watered.
