Foundation Collapse- Assistance for Grant and Cait
Donation protected
On December 28, 2023, at 3 am, our brother Grant Weed, his fiancé Caitlyn Ribaudo, and their new dog Frankie were sleeping in their home in Hampton, NJ, and awoke to a loud and house-rattling sound coming from their basement. They came to find that an entire wall of their foundation had collapsed, leaving their home unstable and uninhabitable. They were forced to leave their home immediately and cannot return until it is deemed safe. The Hampton Fire Department, Police Department, and Emergency Services kindly helped Grant and Caitlyn with temporary stability, but the two are still displaced. Despite having home insurance coverage, the insurance company determined the damages were not covered, which means Grant and Caitlyn have to bear the monumental cost of a foundation repair. This is an unimaginable challenge for two new homeowners and there has been an extreme amount of financial and emotional distress. As our brother and his fiancé navigate this challenge, they have remained kind, loving, caring, and hardworking, which is a testament to the type of people they are. They are determined to return to their home. We would appreciate any amount you can contribute to help these two get through this extremely difficult time. Thank you so much.
