Hello you must have seen this heart breaking story of Donald and I meeting in such unfortunate conditions on @shotsavant social media page. A video I posted on my social media. 

My name is Safiullah Aryan, and I am the organizer of this GoFundMe. I am fundraising to support Donald , whom I found sleeping outdoors in the rain while seriously ill. I took him to Hospital, where he received medical care and is now working with hospital social workers and case managers on his recovery. 

 Donald and I did not know each other prior to this encounter, Because Donald does not currently have a bank account or government-issued ID and due to his medical condition, he has agreed that his mother Andrea Bowers manage the funds on his behalf. 

The funds will not be given as a lump sum. Instead, they will be used directly to pay for essential needs and services to ensure they are used responsibly and in alignment with this fundraiser’s purpose. 

 The funds raised will be used specifically for: • Stable housing and basic furnishings • Medical care, rehabilitation, and follow-up treatment • Medical equipment and mobility assistance as recommended • Food, clothing, transportation, and essential living expenses • In-home care and nursing support if needed.

As Donald’s condition and living situation improve, I am open to ethically and responsibly transferring the remaining funds to him directly by bank transfer through a check or direct wire transfer or coordinating with a trusted family member or caregiver, provided it can be done safely, with his consent, and with appropriate safeguards in place.  At this time we have chosen with the consent of Don that his mother Andrea Bowers will handle these duties. 

 All funds will be managed and used for Donald’s benefit and in coordination with healthcare professionals and support providers.
