On October 16th, I found a sweet dog — now named Coco — she was crossing the 110 freeway going south. We got off on Century Blvd to check her. She was scared, exhausted, and clearly had been on her own for a while. Thankfully, she didn’t have any major injuries, and she’s now safe and thriving in a temporary home and doing well there. She gets along with animals!!
Coco was in heat when we found her and is currently about 20 pounds underweight, but the vet says she’s otherwise healthy. Right now, we’re waiting to confirm whether or not she might be pregnant before moving forward with her vaccinations and spay. Given her condition, the vet thinks it’s unlikely she’s pregnant — but better to wait.
I plan to get Coco spayed and fully vaccinated so she can move one step closer to finding her forever home. These procedures will help her stay healthy and ensure that she’s ready to be adopted into a home.

We’ve waited and posted her, but no one has come forward. So now, I’m focused on giving Coco the fresh start she needs.
She is sweet, gentle, and incredibly well-behaved when we go out — but we’re still working on her manners. She’s such a loving dog and eager to please.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help cover her spay surgery, vaccinations, and follow-up care. Every little bit helps us give this girl a fresh start!!

If you can’t donate, please share Coco’s story — you never know who might recognize her or want to help.

Thank you so much for your kindness.
