Foster medical fund

I am creating this Go Fund Me page for a special 18 year old foster girl.  Last August, Ruby was enrolled at Palomar College and was working part time.  Her life has never been easy, but she was excited to be "a college student" and living on her own.   Then, on December 5, 2016, Ruby was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  She was at stage II when her chemotherapy started two months ago.  Unfortunately, due to the effects of this cancer, Ruby's employer had to let her go and she was unable to attend her classes.  Right now, her cancer treatments demand all of her energy.  Ruby is about half way through the initial scheduled treatments.  

I am Ruby's CASA (court appointed special advocate) and I hope to help her raise enough money to be able to purchase a reliable, gas efficient car and to pay for auto insurance for one year.  

Ruby's prognosis is good and she is trying to keep a positive attitude.  It would help her a lot if she were able to drive to the pharmacy for meds, the store for groceries, and to visit her siblings (also in the foster system).  I have been Ruby's CASA for over four years and I know her to be a good person with hopes for a bright future.
