This year I have been helping an overwhelmed gentleman who had become over run with cats who were having litter after litter of kittens.

I have been fostering the kittens, getting them medical care and finding them wonderful forever homes. Whilst I managed to get Cats Protection involved to get the mums neutered I have been self funding all the kittens care.

Asta arrived a week and a half ago with her brother Harry, the last two kittens from the situation, and it quickly became apparent that she had a problem with her eye. Unfortunately Asta has been diagnosed with entropion in her right eye (where the eyelid turns under and fur rubs on the eye) and the vets have quoted £700 for her surgery to correct the problem.

Without the surgery her eye may eventually become irreparably damaged which could cause blindness.

After helping 9 other kittens I want to do the best for Asta too. So if you can spare even a few pounds it will help Asta get the surgery she needs and live a long healthy life.
