Foster Greatness in South LA Soccer Academy Kids

Greetings! My name is Luis Moctezuma. I am a teacher assistant at Graham Elementary and a volunteer youth sports coach in the local South Los Angeles area. Currently, I am overseeing a local soccer academy founded by myself and local volunteers in the area. As a head coach, part of my mission is to help a selected group of players develop their basic, fundamental knowledge of soccer, social skills, and physical skills. Along with that, and some may argue more importantly, I seek to instill a sense of camaraderie/brotherhood, discipline, and drive amongst the selected group. One of our mottos is "Be Great!" We say "Be Great!" to instill in them that their potential is sky high! We encourage dreaming and striving for greatness. Unfortunately, for some of our boys/girls, this is one of the first or few times they'd heard such an idea. We've had a solid start to the season, but we can do so much more with your help!

With your support, we can continue to spread and strengthen the concept to 'Be Great!' within our current academy group and more groups to come!

This fund would help cover local tournament fees, game day drinks/snacks, medals, trophies, and our end-of-the-season celebratory banquet. With enough funding, this would even support future seasons and continue to strengthen the foundation of our message to 'Be Great!'.
