Mirra had her eye surgery back in May and last night she found her new forever home. Thank you everyone who helped make this happen for her!!!

Hello and thank you for reading my post! I'm raising money for my foster Mirra’s cataract surgery at Animal Eye Specialists in Campbell, CA. There's not much interest in her because of her age and also her eyes, but I'm hoping if we can at least fix her eyes, then people will be interested in her and then she can find her furever home. I’m a foster residing in Fremont, CA and I’m a volunteer with Lend A Helping Paw Shih Tzu Rescue. Any donations will help with Mirra’s surgery so she can see clearly again. She is 8 years old and is one of the sweetest foster I’ve ever had. She was given up by her previous family and I’m currently fostering her. She’s also available for adoption. Mirra is only 8, but she has cataracts and can get around if there’s light, but will sometimes bump into things and gets very scared. I hope to get surgery for her because the doctor said this cataract will only get worst with age and can progress to glaucoma and the pressure from that will cause her to have her eyes removed. Please help her see again. She’s really sweet and super loving and I hate to see her like this. She’s very nice and gets along with all my dogs and my kids too. Thanks in advance for your contribution to her surgery! It means a lot to us and will change Mirra’s life forever. We also operate a Forever Foster program where dogs may live out their natural lives if adoption is not possible due to age, health, or behavior.
