Science Olympiad Goes to Washington

We are thrilled to offer this year's fifth grade Science Olympiad Team from Fair Oaks Elementary the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. at the end of this school year and are looking for financial support to make this trip possible. With the help of supporters like you and the fundraising efforts of our students in the community, we have been able to make this trip with the past 5 groups of fifth graders, which has provided them with experiences they will never forget and has changed the way they view the world around them. We hope to make these same experiences possible for this year's wonderful group of hard-working students. 

Fair Oaks is a high-poverty school, and the students on our Science Olympiad team come from low-income families who cannot afford the cost of this trip. In order to make this trip possible for our students, we are asking for your support.

Each trip costs $500. Any donation will make a great difference to our students. 

Due to our school district's rules, we cannot directly accept donations from any online fundraising site. All donations through GoFundMe will go to John Roper, one of the teacher leaders of the trip. John will then donate the money to Fair Oaks for the trip. Thank you!
