Fort Rosecrans Memorial Day Ceremony
Tax deductible
For over 100 years, The Fort Rosecrans Memorial Day Celebration is one of San Diego's largest, oldest, and most celebrated memorials dedicated to honoring our fallen heroes in the armed service.
This amazing ceremony has lost funding for the upcoming years. The "Gold Star" Millard family has decided to make it our mission to raise enough money to allow this prestigious ceremony to continue on!
The Millard Family has created this fundraiser to help ensure that this important event will have the support to continue the tradition of honoring our heroes.
The Millard Family feels a personal responsibility in this effort because our own brother/son is buried there. Army Corporal Greg Millard made the ultimate sacrifice for our country on May 26, 2007 in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was 22 years old. We owe it to him and the countless other brave men and women who gave so much for our country.
With your support and donations we are going to continue to support The Fort Rosecrans Memorial Day Committee so they can move forward with the proper arrangements that have and will continue to allow this incredible ceremony to continue for years to come.
Expenses for the Memorial Day Ceremonies that have been forfeited due to budget cuts; include police and traffic control, buses for transportation, flower wreaths, insurance, scholarships, mailings and more.
California Bicycle Inc and The Millard Family are determined to keep this time honored tradition alive and acquire the necessary funds for the Fort Rosecrans Memorial Committee.
- All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you in advance for all your help, generosity, and donations as we attempt to continue this time honored tradition at Fort Rosecrans Memorial Cemetery here in San Diego, California.
