Forsythia Close is home to a really friendly community, full of lots of families who would love to use our play area. Unfortunately it has fallen into a horrible condition; it's dirty, not welcoming for children and sadly gets very little use from the community.
Birmingham City Council have informed us there are no plans for redevelopment due to restricted funds at the moment, so we've decided to take it into our own hands! The community deserves a safe space for children to be outside and spend time with their families.
We want to give the play area as much tlc as we can. We anticipate this being:
- painting the metal fences around the area
- giving the equipment a deep clean
- planting some flowers and bringing some life back to the area
We would love to do more but obviously this is dependent on funds and what we can do without getting in trouble with the council!....
We are grateful for any support you may be able to offer, and are really excited to make this a fun and safe space for the community once again.
Thank you!
Sophie and Tani :)
