Forrest’s Gender Affirming Recovery Fund

Hi all :) I have been medically transitioning for some time now, hrt has brought so much happiness and confidence to my life, however, I still am struggling with my gender dysphoria and the enormity of its impact on my mental health. Although, after years of waiting for the life-saving procedures, electrolysis, and facial feminization surgery, I finally am receiving them. I’m so thrilled to have already started with electrolysis, but it’s truly one of the most painful things I’ve ever endured & the expensive numbing medications have become necessary for me to continue with it over these next few years. As a result, my face is left swollen and sore days to a week after each treatment & as a working model and actor, I’ve had to miss & decline a handful of auditions & gigs bc of this. I also finally know my facial feminization surgery will be happening soon (so excited & terrified) & will most likely not be able to comfortably work a month or 2 after, as I heal. This fund will help me pay my rent & other bills during these times, any supplies & medications needed for these procedures, any copays or fees, & financial peace of mind as I heal.
