Forrest’s 10 year journey to getting Top surgery

***UPDATE*** I’ve reached my goal to cover the rest of my liposuction costs which is amazing!!! I’m going to keep this up if anyone would like to help with travel costs for my journey to NB! Thank you everyone who donated and shared it means so much to me :) Hi, my name is Forrest and I’m fundraising to get top surgery! I’ve been transitioning for 10 years now, and a series of unfortunate events (Doctors who don’t care) have prolonged me getting this surgery for quite sometime. I’ve finally found a wonderful doctor to get this process started for me and I’ll be getting surgery on May 30th :) I will be driving from Newfoundland to New Brunswick and staying there for 2-3 days! Fortunately MCP covers the cost of the surgery, Unfortunately they don’t cover all of the “cosmetic” sides of the surgery (liposuction). If anyone would like to donate, it would mean the absolute world to me! I’ve been able to raise half the cost of my goal, but still have a little left to go! Gender affirming surgeries save lives, and hopefully one day we won’t need to ask for help because it will all be covered, one can only hope! Thanks so much for hearing my story :)
