Forrest Harper & Family

As you may have heard, one of our cherished colleagues and SGWS family members, Forrest Harper suffered a devastating fire at his home. The fire started from his car, spread quickly and firefighters were not able to extinguish the blaze in time to save majority of his house. Thankfully no one including any pets were harmed during the incident.

The aftermath of the fire has been devastating for the Harper family. Due to the fire, smoke, and subsequent water damage, all of their furniture, will need to be written off or destroyed. Additionally, all electronics, stereos, kitchen equipment, TVs, and other belongings have been destroyed. Furthermore, the adjusters have recommended the demolition of the entire house due to structural issues caused by the fire.

Despite the significant loss, there are some silver linings. Many pots, pans, silverware, and China were salvaged and are currently being cleaned. Moreover, important documents and photo albums, although smoky, remain intact.
