On March 7,2024 l, our community lost one of their best, Joey Fornero.

Joey suffered a medical emergency on Monday at school. He was then transported to Silver Cross and airlifted to Lurie’s Children. He underwent 2 emergency surgeries; however he never gained consciousness.

Joey will always be remembered for his love of life and energy. He usually could be found on the baseball field, basketball court or in the neighborhood riding his bike.
