In loving memory of Joey Fornero

The Fornero family has been overwhelmed with support and love from our community. I’ve had so many people ask how else they can help besides food. . I’m starting this go fund me to help the family with medical and funeral costs. Thank you so much for your donation.

On March 7,2024 l, our community lost one of their best, Joey Fornero.

Joey suffered a medical emergency on Monday at school. He was then transported to Silver Cross and airlifted to Lurie’s Children. He underwent 2 emergency surgeries; however he never gained consciousness.

Joey will always be remembered for his love of life and energy. He usually could be found on the baseball field, basketball court or in the neighborhood riding his bike.
